Cool Math

Here are some nice math images, most of them generated with the software Maple. The last two were generated by Chris Arthur with Maple and the imaging software POVRay. The code for many of the other images come from a book by Klimek and Klimek: Discovering Curves and Surfaces with Maple (Springer Verlag). If you would like to know the significance of any of the images or you would like to know the code to generate the image, send me an email. You are welcome to use any of the images for yourself, but I would like to hear of it.
